Come share a meal and build community.

You’re Invited

Please bring a covered dish or something to share. We look forward to spending time together, getting to know one another, and creating space for encouragement among those who care for growing families.

Joining Us At Noon

Meet Sarah Cooper

Sarah Cooper, MA, PMH-C, founder of Baby and Me

Endorsed Reflective Supervisor, IMH-E® Infant Family Specialist, founder of Baby and Me. Sarah provides reflective consultation for midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and other professionals supporting families during pregnancy and the early years.

At the picnic, she’ll be available to talk about what reflective consultation is, how it strengthens reflective capacity, and why having a dedicated space to think about the emotional experience of caring for families can support both providers and the relationships at the heart of their work.

She will also share why reflection matters even if you don’t currently have access to a reflective consultant. Building in intentional moments to pause, notice your own responses, and make sense of the emotional layers of your work can help reduce burnout, strengthen clinical judgment, and support more grounded, compassionate care. Whether done individually, with peers, or in informal check-ins, reflective practice can be a powerful way to stay connected to yourself while caring for others.
